See What They Have To Say...

I was very pleased with the relationship that I developed with my therapist.  She was very helpful to me while seeing her and will use her again if ever needed.

Very nice place! My husband and I went to The Calli Institute this week and I was so impressed with everything!  The staff at the front desk is very polite and informative and our therapist, Amanda is incredible!  The atmosphere is very different than any other counseling place we have been and it makes a huge difference.  We plan to return weekly!
- Shauna
I am amazed at how well the staff and nurse practitioner work to help me get my meds and appointments met at a proper and efficient time!
- Sam
I have been to a bunch of different therapists, but this place is by far the BEST!  It is so comfortable, it is like being in someone’s home!  The staff is very respectful and my therapist, Nicole, is excellent!  I am so happy I found her!

I have been very happy with my care at Calli and felt very comfortable there.  I haven’t been there in a few months, but plan on scheduling an appointment soon.  Thank you for your exceptional care and great facility.

We would not hesitate to recommend Calli.  My wife and I felt very comfortable from the very first call to Calli Institute.  The environment is warm and our therapist was very kind and professional.

Support and Education

One of the Calli Institute’s core values is education because we believe that knowledge is empowering. Therefore, we take every opportunity to teach you about your diagnosis, treatment and self-care. One modality we use is group therapy or a seminar format to provide education and support.

Groups are offered periodically throughout the year, which address a number of different issues. Some of the unique advantages of group therapy include opportunities to learn about a variety of topics that relate to mental health and wellness and to connect with others dealing with similar life challenges. Group therapy provides a safe environment to both give and receive support from others while practicing new skills and new ways of looking at a problem. Some of the most powerful work we do happens in group settings.

Check back periodically for updates about our group and/or seminar offerings. You can also check our blog for updates.

Right now, Calli is offering the following:

CoRE: Coping & Regulating Emotion for Adolescents. The Calli Institute is now offering CoRE Skills--an adolescent Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) group for boys and girls in 9th-12th grade. CoRE Skills was created and is led by Kari Lyn Wampler, MA, LMFT. Kari Lyn offers skills training in emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and problem solving. Adolescents can learn to live a more harmonious life for themselves and in relationship to those around them. This group is perfect for teens struggling with Depression, Anxiety, Borderline Personality, Bipolar Disorder, Relationship Issues, or anything that involves situations that make it difficult to regulate emotions. This group meets once a week on Thursday afternoons from 4:00 - 6:00. For more information or to sign up, please contact Kari Lyn at: 763-255-2125.

Mindfulness & Meditation. Join us at the Calli Institute to learn Mindfulness through meditation.  The primary goal of this group is to teach members basic skills in mindfulness and meditation in order to develop an individual practice that will continue beyond the group.  A variety of techniques that incorporate music, guided imagery and the use of breath will be taught to calm a busy mind, promote relaxation, alleviate pain and increase a general sense of well-being.  This group is perfect for anyone who wishes to learn how to meditate, create a calm and peaceful inner self, treat the symptoms of depression and anxiety or manage pain.

Two opportunities for this group are available:  Cindy Libman, LMFT, LICSW, leads on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30 – 6:00; and Kari Lyn Wampler, MA,LMFT, leads on Thursday mornings from 8:30 – 10:00.   Both groups run on 4-week rotations beginning on the first Wednesday and Thursday of each month.   Members are asked to commit to a minimum of 4 weeks and may continue longer if desired.  For more information or to sign up, please contact Cindy or Kari Lyn at:  763-255-2125.
